Week 1–2
Get a Job Offer
Apply on LinkedIn, Naukri Gulf, GulfTalent. Attend interviews. Get written offer letter with salary stated.
Week 2–3
Document Preparation
Get passport attested. Gather educational certificates, experience letters. Get medical test done at GAMCA-approved hospital.
Week 3–4
Employer Submits Visa Application
Your employer submits visa application to MOHRE and GDRFA. You don't need to do anything at this stage.
Week 4–5
Visa Approval
Ministry approves your entry permit. Employer sends you the visa/entry permit via email.
Week 5–6
Medical Test in UAE
After arrival on visit/employment visa, complete DHA/DOH medical test. This is mandatory.
Week 6–7
Emirates ID Registration
Biometrics and Emirates ID application. Card takes 7–10 days to arrive.
Week 7–8
Residence Visa Stamped
Residence visa stamped in your passport. You are now a legal UAE resident. Open bank account.
